Chapel & Spiritual Emphasis

Each week, students gather by division for worship and teaching centered on God's Word. Pastors, guest speakers, and student worship teams lead, and once or twice a year, a Spiritual Emphasis Week goes deeper.

A weekly pause to refocus

Chapel is a vital part of our students’ spiritual formation, not just another school activity. Each week, students gather by division (elementary, middle, and high school) for worship, teaching, and reflection centered on God’s Word. Led by pastors, guest speakers, teachers, and students themselves, chapel is a chance to step away from the day-to-day and be reminded of who God is, who we are, and what we’re called to as followers of Christ.

Christ-centered themes for every age

Each year our chapel programming follows a prayerfully chosen theme that reflects Biblical truth and speaks to the spiritual needs of each age group, from learning God’s character in elementary school to wrestling with identity and purpose in high school. Every message is designed to meet students where they are and point them to Jesus. Students don’t just need to know Scripture; they need to experience it in community.

Moments that shape faith

  • Guest speakers. Trusted Christian leaders, including pastors, missionaries, athletes, authors, and alumni, speak into our students’ lives throughout the year with real-world perspective and gospel-centered encouragement.
  • Spiritual Emphasis Weeks. Once or twice a year, a multi-day series with extended worship, focused messages, and time for prayer and response. These weeks have become milestone moments for many students.
  • Student worship teams. High school students plan worship sets, share devotionals and testimonies, and lead their peers each week.
