Academics

Elementary School

Kindergarten Beginnings through fifth grade, with full school days, small classes, and every subject taught from a Biblical worldview.

Where the program begins

The academic program begins in Kindergarten Beginnings, our full-day class for four-year-olds, where children are introduced to phonics, numbers, and printing. Kindergarten is a full-day academic program as well.

What students learn

Every elementary student is instructed in Bible, reading, English, math, history, science, physical education, art, and music. Bible is its own subject, and a Biblical worldview runs through all of them. In third grade students begin reading music on the recorder, and by fifth grade they may join the beginning band.

Small classes, involved families

Classes stay small enough for teachers to know each student and meet them where they are. Families are partners in the work, and we ask them to be.
