Elza Cuyugan

I love to read articles, play chess, hike, and bike whenever I get the chance. My only child, Naomi, is a proud alumna of SFC. She graduated from law school in May 2025 and passed the California Bar Exam 2 months later.

Working at SFC gives me the opportunity to grow in my faith and also encourages me to make a difference in the lives of the students. I began my teaching career at SFC in fifth grade. During one school year, I had the opportunity to co-teach in both fourth and fifth grades, which broadened my experience across grade levels. I then spent several years teaching third grade, and I am excited to begin this school year as a second-grade teacher. I look forward to bringing the knowledge and experiences I've gained from each grade level into my new classroom.
